The Graduate School for the Creation of New Photonics Industries
The aim of the conference is to integrate “optical technology with business” and “optical technology with finance”. In recent years, participants in financial capital markets have moved closer to the field of science and technology more than ever before as a result of the movement towards sustainable finance, including ESG and impact investment. However, universities and other research institutions that have various technologies and university-launched start-ups and ventures have few opportunities to be aware of these financial capital markets. In order to accelerate the social implementation and commercialization of university seeds, contact points with private business, and especially with the financial and capital markets that supply risk money, are indispensable.
Through this conference (abbreviated name: BFSS), participants in the fields of science and technology and financial and capital markets will be fused together and both sides will exchange frank opinions to explore new possibilities of ‘integrating technology with business’ and ‘integrating technology with finance’ for the realization of a sustainable society.
